Understanding the Import Process
Before Ordering

- Understand applicable tariffs and duties
- Confirm licensing requirements for resale

During Shipment
- We provide all necessary export documentation
- Commercial invoice with accurate product descriptions
- Certificates of origin and compliance
- Detailed packing lists with specifications
- Pre-shipment inspection certificates if required
At Destination
- Submit documents to customs authority
- Pay applicable import duties and taxes
- Complete customs clearance process
- Arrange local transportation from port
- Complete local registration if required
Documentation We Provide
Commercial Invoice
Detailed invoice showing product descriptions, quantities, unit values, and total value. Essential for customs valuation.
Packing List
Comprehensive list of all items with dimensions, weights, and packaging details for each unit.
Certificate of Origin
Official document certifying where the goods were manufactured. Required for preferential tariff treatment.
Bill of Lading / Air Waybill
Transport document proving ownership and providing shipping details for the cargo.
Inspection Certificates
Pre-shipment inspection (PSI) reports if required by destination country.
Fumigation Certificate
Certification that wooden packaging has been treated to prevent pest transmission.
Manufacturer’s Certificate
Document certifying the manufacturer and production specifications of the vehicles.
Compliance Certificates
EPA, CARB, DOT, ECE, or other regulatory compliance documents as applicable.
Import Regulations by Region
United States
Key Requirements:
- EPA Certification: Required for all on-road vehicles and most off-road vehicles
- DOT Compliance: Safety standards for road-legal vehicles
- CARB Certification: Additional requirement for California sales
- CBP Entry: Customs and Border Protection declaration
- Title/MSO: Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin for vehicle registration
Import Duty:
Motorcycles: Generally 0-2.4% depending on engine size. ATVs: 0%. Electric vehicles: May qualify for reduced duties.

We can provide EPA-certified models and DOT-compliant lighting packages for the US market.
European Union
Key Requirements:
- Type Approval: EC/EU type approval or national type approval
- Euro 5 Emissions: Latest emission standards for motorcycles
- CE Marking: For certain vehicle components
- COC: Certificate of Conformity for vehicle registration
Import Duty:
Motorcycles: 6-8% depending on classification. VAT: 19-27% depending on member state.

We offer Euro 5 compliant models with full EC type approval documentation.
Southeast Asia
Common Requirements:
- Local safety and emission standards vary by country
- Import permits may be required
- Pre-shipment inspection often mandatory

Import Duties & Taxes
Import costs typically include:
Customs Duty
Based on HS code classification and product value. Rates vary by country and product type.
Value Added Tax (VAT)
Applied to the total of CIF value plus customs duty. Rates range from 5% to 27% globally.
Excise Tax
Some countries apply additional excise taxes on vehicles, especially larger engine sizes.
Other Fees
Port handling, inspection fees, customs broker fees, and local transportation costs.
Please note that customs clearance and import procedures are the buyer’s responsibility. This includes:
- All import duties, taxes, and fees
- Customs broker services if required
- Demurrage charges for delayed clearance
- Local transportation from port
- Any modifications required for local compliance
